Ordering
General
We accept orders by telephone or any text medium, as well as from our website. Our customer service representatives are anxious to provide you with sales and technical service. Click here for our contact information.
Credit terms
You may pay for your order using Visa, MasterCard or American Express, or we can invoice you with terms of Net 30 Days. We will email you an Order Confirmation and Invoice form when you submit your order. If you elect to be billed, we will also email your accounts payable office an Order Confirmation and Invoice form. Credit is subject to approval, and the review process may delay your shipment as much as three days.
No minimum order
There is no minimum dollar amount for orders placed with CHEMetrics.
Online vs. catalog orders
Pricing is the same for online and catalog orders except for special promotions. Shipping and handling costs are different for online orders than for catalog orders. See the Shipping and handling fees section for details.
Promotional discounts
If you have received a special promotional discount offer, enter the code on the first ordering page. You will receive the special discount or the normal quantity discount for your order, whichever is greater.
Sales tax
Shipments to Virginia customers are subject to Virginia sales tax except for customers who have provided us with a copy of a tax exemption certificate. If your orders should be exempt from Virginia sales tax, please provide us with a copy of your sales tax exemption certificate and include a reference to your email address so that we may update your customer profile.
Quantity discounts
The following discounts are automatically applied to your order. These discounts are calculated on each line item. Products may not be combined to qualify for additional discount.

Test Kits, refills and components not described in other tables*:
  • 50 – 99 units 10%
  • 100 – 199 units 15%
  • 200 + units 20%


V-2000 photometer and SAM photometric kits:
  • 5 – 9 units 5%
  • 10 – 19 units 10%
  • 20 + units 15%

  • 5 – 9 units $28.50
  • 10 – 19 units $26.25

COD 98-packs:

Returning merchandise
CHEMetrics generally accepts returns of resellable merchandise for credit when such merchandise is returned within 60 days. Customers who wish to return merchandise should call CHEMetrics in advance to obtain authorization. Restocking fees of 20% may be imposed except on instruments returned within 30 days of purchase. Additional fees may be imposed for special handling.
