This product is a direct replacement for the discontinued C-1404D comparator

The C-1404 Flat Ammonia Comparator (HBA) is a component of K-1420 Ammonia CHEMets^® Test Kit (HBA) and K-1430D Ammonia HR CHEMets^® Test Kit. It is designed to be compared against the color formed in R-1402 Ammonia/Monochloramine HBA CHEMets^® Refill (HBA) ampoules.

The kit’s range is applicable for many environmental, stormwater and wastewater applications. The comparator contains a set of color standards that was designed to match the colors produced by the live ampoules. . Color standards are yellow to green in color.

Now with improved durability and consistency, more efficient manufacturing, and a subtle color adjustment to better match the live ampoule and support accuracy. No Changes to Ordering or Compatibility: Part numbers and pricing remain the same, and the redesigned comparators are compatible with existing CHEMetrics kit cases.
