Credit terms
You may pay for your order using Visa, MasterCard or American Express, or we can invoice you with terms of Net 30 Days subject to credit approval. If you elect Net 30 day terms, the credit review process may delay your shipment as much as three days. We will email you a receipt or an invoice, depending on your selection.
Sales tax
Shipments to Virginia customers are subject to Virginia sales tax except for customers who have provided us with a copy of a tax exemption certificate. If your orders should be exempt from Virginia sales tax, please provide us with a copy of your sales tax exemption certificate and include a reference to your email address so that we may update your customer profile.
Returning merchandise
CHEMetrics generally accepts returns of resellable merchandise for credit when such merchandise is returned within 60 days. Customers who wish to return merchandise should call CHEMetrics in advance to obtain authorization. Restocking fees of 20% may be imposed except on instruments returned within 30 days of purchase. Additional fees may be imposed for special handling.

Warranty
CHEMetrics warrants its products to be free of defects in materials and workmanship from two years from date of manufacture, except as follows. Those reagent products which we identify as having shelf-lives shorter than two years are warranted through the expiration dates printed on the merchandise. Instrument products, other than their expendable components, are warranted for one year from receipt by the customer. This warranty does not apply to merchandise improperly stored or handled by a party other than CHEMetrics.
THIS WARRANTY SHALL BE IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
Liability
The liability of CHEMetrics, LLC for defective merchandise is limited to the cost of repair or replacement of that merchandise, whichever is lower. In no event shall CHEMetrics be liable for any injury, loss or damage resulting from the handling or use of its products. CHEMetrics does not authorize any person or agent to accept liability on its behalf.
